Jan ending, Feb beginnings, and my Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday to me! Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to meeeeeeee!! Happy birthday to me!!!

So it is February 2010, I am one year older, and quite a bit more wiser. The Year of the Tiger is coming soon, ironically on Valentines day! Bring it on!!!!!!

So what did January amount to anyway? Lol, it went by so quickly what really did I do? ...Let's review...

1. I had a total of 5 auditions: 1 runway, 2 theater, 1 photo shoot, and a musical; booking 2 out of those 5--photo shoot and musical.
2. I had a total of 1 gig that I completed (the photo shoot for a nonprofit)
3. The Game Show gig was finally completed and available for me to view
   
4. I attended yoga 13 times
5. I read 6 books about People Skills, NLP, Acting, and Business Career stuff
6. I completed my initial breakdown for my Romantic Comedy Feature
7. I attended 4 workshops: 2 Darlene, 1 Chadwick (LA), and Jeanie
8. I began acting class with Lora Cunningham
9. I got a...day....job....
10. I contacted 3 producers with general inquiries
11. I found a London Manager that's willing to assist when he can
12. I have a clan that is ready to rock the world with Webisodes (THANKS AMANDA AND GRACE!! YOU'RE AMAZING!)
13. I got new head shots done
14. I read 3 scripts: Kevin's script, Freddy's Script, and 21 Grams Script for class
15. I started my vision board
16. I saw a theater show called Womenworx at the Vortex
17. I can now successfully create a strong character history and story; and within a good time frame
18. I picked up Dallas Travers' book and been working from the workbook
19. maintained my house cleanliness
20. I had lunch many times with a good friend at good restaurants!

What a month, counted out I did something every 1 1/2 days. But if you equate the amount of books in real time and etc, I pretty much did something everyday! Yay!! I started the year off right! Now the momentum will keep up because February may be short, but it's going to be stronger!!! The year of the tiger arrives on February 14th, which comically, is exactly how the stars need to line up. I want to be a Romantic comedy actress, I happen to be a tiger, and the 14th is supposed to be romantic.... I think you get the picture! So.... what do I have in store for February...?

1. No auditions yet...But I scored a paying gig today (2/2) and thursday (2/4). I have a photo shoot again on Saturday with the nonprofit again, the 13th I have a snake photo shoot, and the 14th I have a short film I'm in. That's how many gigs...? 4!
2. I have class with Lora
3. I will complete my Romantic Comedy Feature with a 1st rough draft
4. I will complete my short Romantic comedy by the end of this week (2/6)
5. I will begin writing Our Clan's webisodes and have them finished by next weekend (2/13)
6. We will begin filming my short romantic comedy and possibly some of the webisodes by the end of this month
7. I have been cast in a musical gig that starts rehearsals this month
8. I have Darlene's workshops
   
9. I'm sure I'll be getting more auditions; possibly 2 with the theaters here
10. I'll be streching my horizons with connections and having Belinda help me in that (getting in touch with producers, casting directors, etc)
11. There is a high possibly will be a Game Show filming with pay this month.
12. I will maintain the day job.... till at least the end of april.
13. I will have a more powerful reel with more diversity (good footage)
    
14. I will solidify with a good crew to move to LA
    
15. I will be working with a Director in Lora's Acting Class.
16. I will select some new headshots so I can submit for some good roles on my own through actors access.
17. I will have my reel added to my actors access page
18. I will get an Actors Slate--if chelsea studios would be so kind to come here to ABQ!!!
19. I get to do a Table Read for a script
20. I will complete Dallas's workbook
21. I will contact Chad (LA Casting director) to see what he's up to!
22. I will get my "In search of the perfect romantic comedy" Post card completed and ready to be a ship out to LA.

Well, that's some good stuff going on. I'll probably land a few gigs, paying of course. But this is gonna be great!! I gotta prep for the LA Trip in March. That is going to be phenominal!!!!!!

Alright, I gotta go to bed... work in the morning... ugh!!!!! But I am motivated to the maximum!!!
