Approximately 48 hours till the end of 2009...

What's left to do? Well, I have found many helpful sites and people that will help carry my momentum into the next year. Now it's time to take some action...

With help from the website by Dallas Travers, it is time to focus and put together my dream board. This is a poster with images, words, colors, etc of things that I anticipate for 2010. This will take all of tomorrow (which is good, it's supposed to be unhappy weather) because I really need to get to the root of what I really want in my acting--do I want comedy, drama? Tv? Film? Commercial? Obviously, I want to follow in the path of Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts. Looking at their careers as actresses, most often they were cast in Romantic comedy. That would be a perfect genre for me to be! Meryl Streep is very much a "Character Actress" whereas Julia Roberts is more of a "Leading Lady." Both have incredible awards recognition with Julia Roberts living as one of the Richest Actresses. Can I follow in their lime light? I sure can and I am ready to surpass them.

The Next Step is to put together a wall chart with names of people that are "My Type o' People" and "Not My People." Dallas discusses that everyone is in the right place for the right purpose: an agent who doesn't submit me, a parent that doesn't have faith in me, etc. They are doing what they are supposed to do. It's just up to me, because I can only change what I do in my reactions to either allow those people to continue to hinder me, or I can look past them to the people that are excited for me, willing to help me and will be there through the tears of despair and joy. Those are the people I want in my circle for success, those are the people to create rapports and give my energy to because they will go the lengths to get where I need to go.

I've picked up quite a few books of NLP--man this stuff really meshes well with Ivana's Technique and the little bits I've learned from LeeAnn. Between the Anchoring and how to give that great first impression at the audition (the 3-5 seconds of walking in the room) I'll be able to start aceing everything once I get handed them. That's some things to work on with the scripts I'm going to start breaking down.

Here I come 2010, I'm going to write a poem out of this because the emotions are there... watch for it tomorrow!

Until then...
